This site primarily represents the Simi Valley, California, USA branch of the familiy. Currently, this means my wife Doris, daughter Natalie, son Sven, our cat Callisto and me, Jan. Other Olderdissens as well as a history of the name can be found at my brother's web site
I'm a software architect at DataDirect Networks. We build high performance, high reliability persistent storage systems.
In our spare time, Doris and I enjoy a good helping of Tae-Kwon-Do at Tae-Ryong Tae-Kwon-Do School. Both of us made black belt, but as they say: "A black belt is a white belt that didn't give up." Improvement happens gradually and effortlessly if you stick with it. Natalie and Sven will pick up Tae-Kwon-Do if and when they want to. Callisto has no need for the martial arts. She prefers to shred mice with her claws.
